The evening will include a cocktail reception and a special presentation by John Caven, General Manager of St. George’s Golf and Country Club, located in Etobicoke, ON. Consistently ranked among the top golf courses both in Canada and globally, St. George's is world-renowned for its rolling fairways, strategic bunkering, and legendary finishing holes. Having proudly hosted 11 national PGA and LPGA championship events, the club is a true proving ground for excellence. A graduate of the British PGA with a degree in golf management, John brings over three decades of international club management experience to the podium. Since beginning his career in 1989, he has held key leadership roles at prestigious institutions, including serving as General Manager/Chief Operating Officer at Oakdale Golf & Country Club in Toronto, ON, and General Manager at Glasgow Golf Club, one of the oldest in the world. His extensive background also features operational and development leadership at Loch Lomond Golf Club, G West, and Paul Lawrie Golf. During this session, John will draw on his rich history of managing elite venues and corporate sponsorships to share masterclass insights on maintaining world-class standards. No matter what type of club you serve, his proven perspective on delivering seamless operational excellence will spark actionable ideas to bring back to your own team.
