Awards Ceremony
The 2025 CMAC Awards Ceremony takes place on Saturday, October 17, 8:45 am – 9:45 am ET, immediately preceding the Conference Kick-Off opening remarks. If you are part of our CMAC community, including social program delegates, but not attending the conference education and would like to join us in celebrating our recipients, you are most welcome. In order to manage numbers, we require registration. In the unlikely event that we reach capacity, seats will be reserved for education attendees.
Terms and Conditions
Health & Safety
Attendees must self-monitor and respect others’ well-being. Anyone who has COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses must not attend and, thus, focus on their recovery. Registration for the conference is an acceptance that there are inherent risks to close contact situations, and attendees freely assume all risks which may arise as a result of participation in or in connection with the Conference.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be received, in writing, by no later than September 10. Cancellations received by this time will be refunded all fees less 10% (plus HST) administration fee. Cancellations received after September 10 cannot be refunded. Substitutions will be permitted.
CMAC reserves the right to cancel this program. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date in the event of cancellation. CMAC will not be liable for any loss, damages or other expenses, other than the registration fees that such cancellation may cause.
Payment Policy
Registration must be paid in full to CMAC by October 13. CMAC accepts payments made by credit card, cheque, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Interac e-Transfer made to national@thecmac.ca. After September 15, cheques are not accepted.
Credit Card Payments
All payments paid by credit card are subject to a convenience fee (plus HST).
Certification
CMAC members who register for and attend the full conference will be awarded 10 Association Activity Credits with an additional two Activity Credits for attending the Annual General Meeting. Members will also receive one National Conference Credit (with attendance at a minimum of four education sessions).
National Education Credits are awarded on the basis of one Credit for every hour of education time. Breaks are not included. Participants must be present for the full session and an evaluation must be completed and submitted for each session in order to be eligible for the credit(s). There are a total of 17 National Education Credits possible if you attend all sessions.
Photographs & Social Media
CMAC reserves the right to use any photo or video images recorded at the Conference. By registering for the Conference you acknowledge and agree that CMAC may photograph and/or video you during the event as well as use the photographs and/or videos in any publication or media for future educational and promotional activities/materials without further notification or any compensation.
