The Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) is a dynamic association representing a diverse community of club managers and professionals across the nation. With over 670 members, our network includes CEOs, COOs, CFOs, General Managers, Assistant GMs, Clubhouse Managers, Controllers, Golf Professionals, Superintendents, Food & Beverage Managers, Executive Chefs, Catering Managers, HR Directors, and Marketing Coordinators, among others. We proudly represent a variety of clubs, including country clubs, city clubs, golf, curling, yacht, social, dining, racket sports, and multi-use clubs, many of which also accommodate overnight guests. Additionally, we are thrilled to include students, faculty, and alumni from post-secondary institutions across Canada and beyond.
In line with our vision, CMAC is dedicated to cultivating exceptional leaders through excellence in professional club management. Our primary focuses are education and networking, providing innovative and industry-leading educational programs—including virtual options—that prepare our members for the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, the hallmark of professionalism in our field. Members gain valuable industry insights, experience diverse clubs across Canada, and exchange ideas with fellow professionals, all of which enhance the experiences of their own club members.
CMAC has a new Strategic Framework titled: A Balanced Approach, which prioritizes leadership, member value, and sustainability as key initiatives for the upcoming years.
CMAC is also a proud member of the National Allied Golf Associations (NAGA), collaborating with five other national associations in the Canadian amateur and professional golf industry. Through maintaining industry relationships and advocating for our members at various governmental levels, we provide numerous benefits to our community.
