The Vancouver Island Branch of the Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) brings together 11 club management professionals representing a variety of clubs across Vancouver Island, from Victoria to Nanoose Bay and surrounding communities.
Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and known for its coastal communities, natural beauty, and rich hospitality culture, Vancouver Island offers a unique environment where clubs play an important role in bringing people together. From waterfront settings to recreational and social experiences, clubs across the Island reflect the region’s strong connection to community, tradition, and hospitality.
The Vancouver Island Branch is dedicated to strengthening connections among club management professionals through networking, education, and collaboration. As a close-knit group, members share knowledge, support one another, and create opportunities to learn from the diverse experiences of clubs throughout the region.
The Branch is proud of the accomplishments of its member clubs, including recognition through CMAC’s Club of the Year Awards. The Victoria Golf Club was honoured as Large Club of the Year, while the Victoria Yacht Club received Medium Club of the Year, showcasing the dedication and excellence of clubs represented within the Branch. In addition, in 2024, Uplands Golf Club won the Medium Club of the Year.
Looking ahead, Vancouver Island will welcome CMAC members from across the country to Victoria for the 2027 National Food & Beverage Management Conference, Harbouring Hospitality. This event will celebrate the region’s unique hospitality landscape while providing an opportunity for club management professionals to connect, learn, and share ideas.
