In December 2021, the Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) became the Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC). This change marked a new chapter in our history, accompanied by the adoption of a refreshed logo in February 2022.
CMAC proudly represents a diverse collective of over 650 club industry professionals who share a common passion for excellence in the industry. Our mission is to support every member, regardless of their role, experience, or background in club management.
We offer three categories of membership: Professional, Community, and Honourary, each designed to meet the varied needs of our members. Our members value CMAC for the unparalleled networking opportunities, industry-leading educational programs, and access to cutting-edge trends through our magazine and seminars & conferences.
While many of our members hold senior leadership positions such as General Managers, Chief Executive Officers, or Chief Operating Officers, we also welcome an increasing number of Assistant Managers, Controllers, Food and Beverage Managers, hospitality educators, and students pursuing careers in club management.
Among our 650+ members, approximately 60% represent golf and country clubs, 10% are from city clubs, 7% come from recreation and leisure clubs, and the remainder represent a variety of private or semi-private sports, fitness, curling, and other clubs. Collectively, these members represent more than 240 clubs across Canada.
CMAC is committed to fostering excellence in club management and empowering professionals across the industry to thrive.
