AI Capabilities for Club Management Professionals - Beyond the Bot (Virtual - Presented by the Ottawa Valley and Atlantic Branches)

July 20, 2026

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Eastern Time

The first wave of AI discussions has centred around getting employees comfortable with the technology and deploying customer-facing AI agents — such as chatbots to answer phones or scrape website content. While useful, these tools often deliver generic or unpredictable results to your most important audience: your members and guests.

The true power move for 2026 is unlocking AI capabilities for Club Managers themselves. This approach frees up your time to do what you do best: leading from the front and elevating the hospitality experience across your entire property

In this session with Nexopta Golf’s Derek McCurdy, PGA, and Cameron Jacobs, PGA, we’ll explore a “top-down” AI strategy. Club Managers will lead the charge by building secure, tailoredsolutions — rather than leaving frontline staff to patchwork unsecured public AI tools withsensitive club data.

We’ll cover consolidating data from siloed systems into a personalized “Command Centre,” distilling meeting notes and internal communications, optimizing inboxes and calendars, protecting member and club private information, and building an evolving AI Knowledge Base. This creates an enduring operational legacy that supports your team as people move in and out of roles.

AI isn’t coming — it’s already here. What is your club’s AI strategy?
