Join us for an exciting day of education where we’ll dive into one of the most crucial yet challenging aspects of leadership and professional growth: feedback. Whether you’re looking to enhance team performance, manage expectations, or handle tough conversations with finesse, this summit is designed to equip you with the tools you need. This virtual summit will be divided into two sessions. Attendees are welcome to register for either the early or later session or spend the whole day learning with fellow club management professionals and register for the full-day experience.
Giving Feedback
Eliciting Feedback
By the end of the morning session, you will understand the psychology of feedback and why it is so challenging to both give and receive. Through this understanding you will gain the confidence and insight to both effectively deliver to others and elicit feedback for yourself.
Managing Up
Feedback Tools: Performance Reviews vs. Performance Management
When Feedback Doesn’t Work: The Do’s and Don’ts of Termination of Employment Conversations
By the end of the afternoon session, you will acquire practical tips on handling two of the hardest feedback conversations: first, with the people who manage you, and second, with the people who are no longer a fit for your organization. Additionally, we’ll discuss alternative approaches to performance management, and ask you to consider whether your current process is the best way to optimize your team’s performance.
