Royal Ottawa Golf Club Clubhouse Manager Edward Moke Achieves
Internationally Recognized Certified Club Manager Designation
TORONTO, Ontario (November 30, 2023) – The Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) is delighted to announce that Edward Moke, CCM, clubhouse manager of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Gatineau, Quebec has recently attained his designation of Certified Club Manager (CCM) and joins the 77 other CCMs and one MCM in Canada. The CCM designation indicates that a club management professional has completed a rigorous course of study and training and shows a dedication to proficiency and expertise in club management.
The CCM designation is the hallmark of professionalism in club management established by the Club Management Association of America in 1965. CMAC launched the certification program in Canada in 2004. The designation is a valuable, internationally recognized, and widely respected mark of a manager’s commitment to professional development and the club industry. In order to receive the CCM designation, one must invest time in specified education requirements, attend at least one CMAC National Conference, be a member of CMAC for a minimum of six years and maintain activity within their local branch. After these conditions have been met, the individual must pass the CCM exam. Attainment of the CCM title shows a long-term commitment to professional development and club management.
