Club Management Professional Achieves
Internationally Recognized Certified Chief Executive (CCE) Designation
TORONTO, Ontario (June 12, 2020) – The Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM) is delighted to announce that Paul Morrell, CCM, CCE, Chief Operating Officer of the Ontario Racquet Club in Mississauga, Ontario has attained the designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) and joins the 19 other CCEs in Canada. The CCE designation was developed to recognize those managers who have shown the ability to successfully serve as the most senior manager in a club.
Meant to augment the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, seen as the “hallmark of professionalism” in the club industry, the CCE requires managers to have achieved the CCM designation, to have obtained Honour Society status by completing an additional 400 hours of education, to have successfully completed Business Management Institutes Tactical and Strategic Leadership, and to have served as the top executive in a club for a minimum of five years. The CCM designation was established by the Club Management Association of America in 1965. CSCM launched its certification program in Canada in 2004.
CSCM extends its sincere congratulations to Mr. Morrell who will be recognized at the 2020 CSCM first-ever virtual National Conference being held in October 2020.
