Club Management Professional Achieves Internationally Recognized Certified Chief Executive (CCE) Designation
TORONTO, Ontario (February 1, 2023) – The Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) is delighted to announce that Jeremey J. MacRae, CCM, CCE, General Manager of the Bayview Golf and Country Club in Thornhill, Ontario has attained the designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) and joins the 14 other CCEs in Canada. The CCE designation was developed to recognize those managers who have shown the ability to successfully serve as the most senior manager in a club.
Meant to augment the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, seen as the “hallmark of professionalism” in the club industry, the CCE requires managers to have achieved the CCM designation, to have obtained Honour Society status by completing an additional 400 hours of education, to have successfully completed Business Management Institutes Tactical and Strategic Leadership, and to have served as the top executive in a club for a minimum of five years. The CCM designation was established by the Club Management Association of America in 1965. CMAC launched its certification program in Canada in 2004.
CMAC extends its sincere congratulations to Mr. MacRae who will be recognized at the 2023 CMAC National Conference being held October 14-18, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario.
