Jeff Germond, CCM - National Conference Co-Chair
Jeff has accumulated over 30 years of private club management experience including senior roles at the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club, Markland Wood Golf Club, Hamilton Golf & Country Club, the National Golf Club of Canada, the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club, and currently the COO at the Mississaugua Golf & Country Club where he has held the position since 2016. Jeff is also the Past President of the Ontario Branch (2016-17) and the Southwestern Ontario Branch (2002-03) of the Club Management Association of Canada and is the Past President of the National Board (2021-2022).
Jeff has been married to his wife Sally for 34 years and they have three daughters, Rebecca, Daniella,
Trevor Noonan, CCM, CCE - National Conference Co-Chair
With over 28 years of club management experience, Trevor Noonan is an award-winning private club leader, mentor, educator and professional volunteer. In 2016 he became the Chief Operating Officer of Toronto Club – Canada’s oldest private club. Trevor earned his Certified Club Manager designation in 2007 and his Honours and Certified Chief Executive designations in 2013. Trevor was COO of Muskoka Lakes Golf & Country Club when it was awarded the 2013 CSCM Club of the Year. In 2021 his peers selected him as the CSCM Club Manager of the Year. And in 2023 Trevor was presented the Excellence in Club Management – John Furlong Award. Trevor is the only Canadian member of the Distinguished Clubs of the World, an association of just twenty members from centenary city clubs across the globe.
Brad is currently serving as the General Manager at Rosedale Golf Club. Brad was a member of the PGA of Canada for 25 years and during that time served as the Head Professional at Fairview Mountain GC, the Director of Golf at Predator Ridge Golf Resort and the Head Professional at Capilano Golf and Country Club. After 5 years as Head Professional at Capilano, Brad transitioned into the role of General Manager and served in that role for 10 years before moving to Rosedale in September of 2021. He has been a member of CMAC since 2011 and has served as a Director and President of the Pacific Branch and on National Committees.
Paul Cadieux, CCM
Paul is an experienced club professional with 20+ years of results-driven leadership at some of Canada’s top multi-sport, social and family clubs such as Boulevard Club, Toronto Cricket Skating & Curling Club, Island Yacht Club, Toronto Ski Club, and most recently at the Badminton and Racquet Club.
Laura Manganaro, CCM
After a successful career in publishing spanning two decades, Laura Manganaro answered an ad for someone with "Sales, Marketing and Publishing" experience at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. After being hired as their Sales & Marketing Manager she knew that Clubs were her true calling; an environment where Customer Relationship Management was foremost and where she had the ability to positively impact people's lives. She has been the Manager of Queen City Yacht Club on the beautiful Toronto Islands for 10 years.
Liz McDowell, CCM
Liz McDowell is a Director with GGA Partners and an experienced executive specializing in strategic planning, corporate governance, management, operations, finance, and accounting. Liz brings a unique blend of professional services experience, professional accreditation, and private club operational experience to GGA clients. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), Certified Club Manager (CCM), and seasoned private club manager with over ten years of experience operating a premier private golf club, Liz provides an impactful and valuable perspective to GGA’s full complement of service offerings from transaction advisory to strategy and operations consulting, to research and analytics services.
Chris Serré, CCM
Chris is an experienced club professional with 25+ years of hospitality leadership at some of the GTA’s best Clubs including Summit Golf Club, Bayview G&CC, and most recently at the Rosedale Golf Club. Chris currently sits as a National Board of Director and chairs the Awards Committee. Chris previously enjoyed eight years on the Ontario Branch Board including being President in 2020. A couple of Chris’ side hustles include overseeing the Ontario Branch Club Cookbook project and cajoling people into riding with the CMAC Cycling Club.
