Michael Gregory of GGA Partners, Scott Kolb of Fresh Golf Club Solutions, and Scott Bellhouse of Bellhouse Recruitment Inc. will offer candid perspectives on what employers are seeking, how candidates can position themselves effectively, and the common factors that influence hiring decisions.
Moderated by Dale Manaj of The Derrick Club, the discussion will explore a range of questions from the recruiter’s point of view, providing valuable guidance for those preparing for their next club management opportunity.

Scott Kolb

Starting as a PGA of Canada member in 1992, Scott has been involved and remains connected with all facets of the Canadian Golf & Club Industry. His National Board experiences include the Club Management Association of Canada and PGA of Canada (currently serving as the President). He has also worked regionally with the PGA of BC, NGCOA provincial advisory committee and the Camosun College advisory committee of the Professional Golf Management Program.
His hands-on managerial recruitment experience includes 16 years as GM/COO of the historic seaside Victoria Golf Club, Raven at Lora Bay, and corporate experience at GolfBC.
Scott has been awarded provincially and nationally by his peers. He was the inaugural winner of the Executive Professional of the Year for the PGA of BC and the Fore Seasons winner of the NGCOA/PGA of BC award. He has won the Merchandiser of the Year for Golf Shop of the Year from the PGA of Canada. One of his proudest achievements was having he and his team recognized as the Club of the Year from the Club Management Association of Canada.
Following his time at VGC, he stayed connected to his Club and & Golf roots by forming a Recruitment company. In the last 4+ years he has added Jason Clarke CCM, Charles Lorimer PGA & Carmen Derricott CCM to FG Club Solutions Recruitment Team.

Scott has been engaging leaders for some of Canada’s most respected hospitality organizations since he founded Bellhouse Recruitment in 2011 (formerly Bellhouse Hospitality / Profile Hospitality Group).
Focused on senior leadership searches, Scott brings over 20 years of restaurant operations expertise, in major Canadian cities including Vancouver and Toronto for notable brands such as Oliver & Bonacini and Earls. During his decade-long tenure at O&B, Scott played a pivotal role as Director of Operations in the opening of five new restaurant locations and mentored dozens of promising individuals into leadership roles.
Scott is based on Vancouver Island.
