Session Description

Lumina Spark is an immersive leadership development experience that builds self-awareness, strengthens collaboration, and equips leaders with practical tools for working effectively together — especially under pressure.

What’s Included in the Experience

A personalized Lumina Spark Portrait, the eight aspects of personality in action, exploring the three Lumina Personas, overextension to composure awareness, and the GROWS goalsetting framework. Participants also gain Team Viewer insights into collective strengths and gaps, along with small-group discussion and applied leadership activities.

Speaker

Anthony Hopkins, CHRP, CHRL 'RET'

Anthony is a leadership educator, consultant, and speaker with over 25 years of executive-level experience in human resources, leadership development, and general management. After leaving the corporate sector in 2004, he established a consulting practice focused on helping organizations maximize the impact of their human capital.

In addition to leading his consulting practice, he is a Senior Fellow with the Ted Rogers Leadership Centre at Toronto Metropolitan University and a former Director of the Business Career Hub at the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM), where he and his team supported the career development of more than 11,000 business students. Anthony has also served as an Executive-in-Residence and long-time faculty member at TRSM.
Anthony also served as the Faculty Coordinator for the Business Management Institute (BMI) for the Club Management Association of Canada, (2009 – 2024) supporting leadership and management development within the club industry.

A qualified Lumina Learning practitioner, Anthony has coached over 3,000 individuals using psychometric tools to build self-awareness, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and support informed career and life decisions. He is a sought-after speaker and facilitator on leadership, communication, performance coaching, and team effectiveness.

Cancellations
Due to the upfront costs of the Lumina Spark Portrait, cancellations cannot be permitted for this workshop.

Payment Policy
In order to attend the CMI workshop, registration must be paid in full to CMAC prior to March 6, 2026. Payments made prior to February 16, 2026 can be paid by credit card, cheque, e-transfer to national@thecmac.ca, or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Payments made after February 16, 2026 can only be paid by e-transfer, EFT, or credit card through your CMAC profile.

Credit Card Payments
All payments paid by credit card are subject to an additional 2.4% processing fee (plus HST).

Certification

Participants will receive 6 NE Credits in addition to the completion of 1 CMI Workshop credit. Evaluation forms must be completed and submitted in order to be eligible for the credit(s). Attendance is required for the entire session in order to obtain credit for the CMI Workshop - Lumina Spark (Alberta Branch).
