Coordinator, Events & Branch Engagement - March 2026

Reporting to the COO and the Ontario Branch Manager, the Coordinator, Events & Branch Engagement supports the growth and success of CMAC’s branches across Canada. Much of your time will be dedicated to planning and delivering programs and services within local geographic areas. The role will be divided as follow: National/Branch (Outside Ontario Branch) Engagement (60%) and Ontario Branch Engagement (40%).

Using your strong relationship management skills, you will build meaningful connections with branch leadership and members, keeping them engaged and informed about CMAC offerings.

You will work closely with volunteers, members, vendors, and CMAC leadership to ensure the successful delivery of education and events.

This role will entail a 37.5 hour work week with hybrid schedule (2 -3 days in office and attendance in person at some events); some evenings/weekends required.

Key Responsibilities

Event Logistics

  • Support the development and delivery of branch and national education events and programs, both in-person and virtually delivered
  • Coordinate event logistics as directed by the Ontario Branch Manager or Manager, Education & Events
  • Administer the registration process for assigned events
  • Organize event evaluations including their distribution and collation
  • Work with CEO to deliver virtual and in-person cross-branch leadership forum meetings on a quarterly basis

Event Administration

  • Create session credit allocation and enter credits in member database in accordance with certification program policies
  • Coordinate and administer speaker and sponsor agreements and thank you / evaluation letters
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annual events calendar
  • Assist with event sponsor fulfillment

Branch Engagement

  • Liaise with branch leadership to coordinate branch regulation deliverables
  • Update branch pages on the CMAC website where needed
  • Work with branches to obtain annual branch dues and event information required
  • Deliver an annual outreach program to an identified Canadian region in conjunction with the CEO to promote CMAC and visit non-member clubs
  • Other duties as required

Who You Are

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working with volunteers and senior leaders
  • Adaptable and collaborative in a hybrid work environment
  • 2+ years’ experience in office coordination, HR, event planning, or administrative support
  • Advanced Office Software Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Zoom and ability to adopt to new software
  • 2–3 years of experience in event coordination or project coordination, ideally within a nonprofit or community-focused environment.
