BMI General Manager / Chief Operating Officer 2026
January 26–30, 2026 | Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University
CMAC is pleased to present the 2026 BMI General Manager / Chief Operating Officer course, taking place from Monday, January 26 to Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto.
This year’s program delivers a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for club professionals seeking to strengthen their leadership, operational, and strategic management skills.
Participants will gain the skills to operate their clubs as businesses and be recognized as true leaders. The course covers the essential responsibilities and competencies of an effective GM/COO, including strategic marketing, member engagement, law and club operations, finance, facility management, and leadership development. Topics such as team building, working with boards and committees, communication, feedback, negotiation, and crisis management are integrated with sessions on golf operations, technology trends, and current club issues, all brought to life through interactive discussions and case studies.
BMI courses are a cornerstone of the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation journey, providing opportunities to gain fresh ideas, share experiences, and build valuable professional connections. While the CCM designation may be your ultimate goal, many participants find that the journey itself offers the most meaningful growth.
CMAC gratefully acknowledges the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) for providing the curriculum for the BMI program.
We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging and enriching learning experience in January 2026.
Advance registration is open until November 14, 2025.
Best wishes,
Suzanne Godbehere
