Location:
1200 Sandy Somerville Drive, London, ON N6K 5R2
Workshop Description
The past few years have presented more challenges and change for many industry leaders than possibly the previous decade. These changes to our industry have shifted what our teams, members, and guests want, need, and expect from leaders and their operations. This presents an opportunity if not a requirement for us to lead differently. What led to our success in the past will not produce the same results in today’s market conditions. This program will present proven leadership concepts along with the execution focused strategies to ensure the leaders attending the workshop are able to achieve the results they want and deserve.
Learning Objectives:
The Power of Routine – How to plan your days weeks and months to ensure that leaders can focus on what matters most for the operation, avoid burnout, and support their mental wellness.
Manager and Employee Attract Strategy – In a labor shortage, the leaders will learn how to implement an attract strategy that allows them to stand out to their ideal candidates – writing unique job ads, how to effectively filter applicants, and implementing an attract scorecard.
Manager and Employee Retention Strategy – The key to any operation’s success is connected to its ability to effectively retain its managers and staff. We present a proven process focused on creating clear expectations and implementing a recognition-focused culture.
Coaching & Employee Feedback – Coaching is a learned skill. We will create the space for all participants to engage in a 1:1 coaching role-play exercise, with the intention of allowing them to strengthen their listening, engagement, and feedback skill set.
Providing a Remarkable Guest Experience – Member and guest expectations are higher than ever before. The key to success is a commitment to a consistent and relentless guest experience. The leaders attending will go through a 3-step service strategy that can be applied to every customer touch point in their operation.
Implementing an Execution Focused Strategy – We will anchor the day by taking all of the leaders through a 100-day execution plan. This will ensure they not only consume content but have the ability to go back to their operations to introduce their teams to what they learned, enroll them in strategies, and execute on their core focuses.
