 cute\;bec.</p>\n\n<p>CMAC members will earn two Branch Education credits f

 \, CCM started his club management career in 1996 at le Club de golf Le Bl
 ainvillier and has been the general manager at The Country Club of Montrea
 l and Beaconsfield Golf Club in Qu&eacute\;bec. In 2014 he moved to Ottawa
 \, to take over the general manager role at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club\, u
 ntil 2019 when he moved to the Ottawa Hunt &amp\; Golf Club. His most rece
 nt role is as general manager of Hillsdale Golf Club in Qu&eacute\;bec whi
 ch he began in 2024. Guy became a Certified Club Manager (CCM) in 2011 and
  was recognized as the Club Manager of the Year in 2023 by the Club Manage
 ment Association of Canada.</p>\n</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\">\n<
 p>Guy is a seasoned club management professional who has faced numerous ch
 allenges throughout his career. Under Guy&rsquo\;s leadership\, Ottawa Hun
 t &amp\; Golf Club was able to recover quickly from the derecho and contin
 ue preparations to host a record-setting and award-winning event for the L
 PGA.</p>\n\n<p>Guy is indigenous as part of the First Nations in this land
 . His heritage is Huron\, as part of the Huron-Wendake (Huronne-Wendat) ba
 nd near Qu&eacute\;bec City. He is a strong role model and a well-respecte
 d leader and mentor within the club management industry in Canada. He has 
 led his senior management team to excel\, some of whom have become GMs and
  CCMs in their own right.</p>\n</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n\n<p><str
 ong>Navigating Golf Course Renovations: Planned and Unplanned</strong></p>
 \n\n<p>This session will showcase Guy&rsquo\;s expertise in navigating bot
 h planned and unplanned renovations\, including overcoming the challenges 
 of natural disasters.</p>\n\n<p>Guy&rsquo\;s current role as general manag
 er at Hillsdale Golf Club has him overseeing major renovations to transfor
 m the current club and course. The club was founded in 1953 and currently 
 has two 18-hole courses designed by Canadian architect Howard Watson. Whit
 man\, Axland &amp\; Cutten (WAC Golf) has been hired to develop a plan tha
 t will convert the existing facilities and golf courses into a new 18-hole
  course\, a 9-hole course\, and high-performance teaching and practice fac
 ilities.</p>\n\n<p>In 2022\, a rare weather event occurred in areas of Sou
 thern Ontario and Qu&eacute\;bec causing notable property damage to the Ot
 tawa Hunt &amp\; Golf Club. The club lost over 1200 trees and experienced 
 extensive damage to its irrigation system. Under Guy&rsquo\;s leadership\,
  the club was able to recover within three weeks of the storm and continue
  preparations to host a record-setting and award-winning event for the LPG
 A.</p>\n\n<p>This session will be delivered en&nbsp\;fran&ccedil\;ais.</p>
